More Than a Tango Retreat

Serious Tango Training Inside a Beautiful Retreat Experience

Tango en el Alma Retreats are designed for dancers who want more than a beautiful escape.

At the heart of every retreat is high-quality Argentine Tango training: deep technical work, musicality, connection, guided practice, and inspiring workshops with exceptional teachers.

Alongside this, we create a rich retreat experience filled with culture, community, beautiful hospitality, shared meals, social dancing, and carefully chosen destinations.

What Makes Our Retreats Unique

From luxury European Tango Retreats to unforgettable Buenos Aires Tango Retreats, every experience is created with the same intention: to help you grow as a dancer while enjoying the beauty, atmosphere, and connection that make Tango so special.

Deep Tango Training

Technique, connection, musicality, embrace, movement quality, guided practice, and classes designed to create real progress.

We choose places that elevate the entire experience — from the elegance of Europe to the epic energy of Buenos Aires.

Our Signature Buenos Aires Retreats

Buenos Aires is where Tango breathes. Our Buenos Aires retreats are led by Letitia Simone & Andrés Sosa, bringing guests into the city with depth, care, and real local knowledge.

We have lived and worked in Buenos Aires and know the city inside out — its milongas, maestros, neighbourhoods, rhythms, codes, culture, restaurants, taxis, theatres, and hidden details.

Andrés is Argentine, and together we have worked in Buenos Aires’ top Tango shows, theatres, milongas and cultural spaces, as well as festivals and events worldwide. On our Buenos Aires Tango Retreat, we also hand-pick top Argentine maestros with unparalleled experience to guest teach.

Buenos Aires is not just a destination for us — it is part of our life, work, artistry, and Tango community.

Who Our Retreats Are For

Solo Dancers, Couples, Friends & Tango Lovers

Our retreats welcome dancers who want to improve their Tango, enjoy meaningful travel, and be part of a warm, supportive community.

You are welcome to join us as a solo dancer, as a couple, or with friends. Many of our guests come alone, and one of the things we are most proud of is the atmosphere that forms on every retreat: welcoming, generous, friendly, and full of connection.

Again and again, guests arrive as individuals and leave with friendships that continue long after the retreat has ended.

Levels, Role Balance & Group Care

Each retreat will clearly state the recommended level, as this may vary depending on the destination and programme. In general, our retreats are designed to welcome dancers with different levels of experience.

Support for Newer Dancers

Our classes are carefully structured so newer dancers feel supported, encouraged, and able to grow with confidence.

Challenge for Experienced Dancers

More experienced and advanced dancers are given depth, refinement, and challenge through detail, quality, musicality, and connection.

Role Balance Considered

We pay close attention to group dynamics and role balance so everyone can receive the maximum benefit from classes, practice, and dancing.

Buenos Aires Retreat guests with Andrés

Many guests join our retreats without knowing anyone beforehand. We take care of the group dynamic so that people feel welcomed, included, and supported — both in the classes and in the social moments around the retreat.

Culture, Hospitality & Shared Moments

The Details That Make a Retreat Feel Special

We believe the magic of a retreat happens in the full experience: the classes, the conversations, the shared meals, the laughter, the quiet moments, the music, and the feeling of being beautifully looked after.

Whether it is aperitivo by the pool, Argentine folklore under the sun, a special dinner, or a night out in Buenos Aires, we design each retreat to feel rich, personal, and memorable.

Our Retreat Journey So Far

Each destination has had its own character, but the essence remains the same: exceptional Tango training, authentic culture, beautiful hospitality, and a community atmosphere that makes every guest feel part of something special.
