Two Thursday Riverside Milongas + One Special Argentine Sunday
This July, Abrázame returns to our beautiful riverside home on the Thames with three dates: Thursday 9 July, Sunday 12 July and Thursday 23 July.
Join us for our regular Thursday evening milongas with a special pre-milonga class by Letitia Simone & Andrés Sosa, and for a very special Argentine Asado & Afternoon/Evening Milonga celebrating Argentine Independence by the river.

Abrázame Thursday Milonga
Our first Thursday evening of July with a special intermediate pre-milonga class before the dancing begins.

Argentine Asado & Afternoon Milonga
A celebration of Argentine Independence and culture with authentic Asado by Chef Rulo and dancing by the river during the day.

Special Class Before the Milonga
Every Thursday begins with a special class by Letitia Simone & Andrés Sosa — directors of Tango en el Alma and organisers of Abrázame Milonga.
This is an intermediate-level class focused on traditional social tango, refining musicality, creativity and connection in improvisation.
We want to encourage dancers to come early, take the class, and then enjoy the milonga with fresh ideas and a deeper connection to the music and the embrace.

Students with valid ID — £15 for Class + Milonga
Student ID must be shown at the door.
Card payments for class and milonga are +£1 at the door.
Tango en el Alma Members
Members enjoy discounted Thursday entry at £10, with the pre-milonga class included.

Abrázame Argentine Asado & Afternoon/Evening Milonga
A special Argentine Independence celebration on Sunday 12 July at Westminster Boating Base — authentic food, tango, music, friends and riverside views.
Authentic Argentine Asado by Chef Rulo
Join us for a very special Sunday afternoon as Abrázame brings the warmth of Argentina to our riverside home on the Thames.
Asado kicks off at 2:00 PM, prepared live on the traditional Argentine parrilla by Chef Rulo, followed by a relaxed Afternoon/Evening Milonga from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
Whether you are joining us for the full Argentine feast or simply coming along to dance, everyone is welcome to enjoy this unique community celebration.

3:00 PM – 8:00 PM — Afternoon/Evening Milonga
A relaxed Sunday flow: eat, dance, enjoy the river, and celebrate with the Abrázame community.
Milonga by the Thames
Dance in our stunning riverside venue with a beautiful wooden floor, full bar, outdoor terraces and the warm Abrázame atmosphere.
Expect great tango music, friends, embraces and wonderful company all afternoon and into the evening.

Advance booking is essential. Places are limited due to seating and catering requirements.
Tickets for the Asado must be purchased in advance via WhatsApp. No Asado bookings can be accepted on the day.
